ACK Nannies is a childcare placement agency based on Nantucket, Massachusetts.  It was created with the intention of building a curated group of high quality nannies to take care of families on island. Through a personalized and specific process, we will provide families with nannies who are competent, creative, and nurturing individuals. 

ACK Nannies is locally owned and operated by Katie Muccia, a Nantucket lover since 2001 and a Nantucket resident since 2013. 

As a placement agency, ACK Nannies narrows down your search process, saving you both time and stress! All of our nanny applicants go through meticulous screening which includes in-person interviews, a thorough background check, a full reference check, and more. Depending on the job, number of children, and duties required, we will find the perfect caregiver(s) for you and your family. We recommend that two nannies are on site for families with more than three children (but we understand that certain situations may vary and we will take that into account upon booking.)

ACK Nannies provides seamless childcare to families looking to enjoy their time on Nantucket. Whether you are a permanent resident, a summer resident, or just visiting, we will handle any of your childcare needs. Our team consists of background checked, reference checked, CPR trained (American Red Cross and American Health Training) sitters dedicated to making your time on Nantucket the best it can be.
